"Pan comido" is a little hidden treasure, tucked away in the bustling Santa Catalina Market. It’s the perfect spot to grab a morning treat or pick up some irresistible croissants and cakes to take away. Every time I pop in for a Cinnabon or a buttery croissant, it feels like stepping into a cosy living room—warm, inviting, and full of charm. The staff always greet you with a smile, and the air is filled with the heavenly scent of freshly baked goodies. Honestly, the display is so tempting that it’s often hard to choose! But that’s part of the fun, isn’t it?
What really makes this place special is the warmth and care you feel, the kind you only get from a local, family-run business. Every bite feels like it’s been made with love, and trust me, it shows. If you’re a fan of delicious cakes, flaky pastries, and a proper cup of coffee, this is your spot. I can’t recommend it enough—it’s a solid 10 out of 10 for both friendliness and quality.

I found this little bakery while looking for another food market. I'm so glad I stumbled across Pan Comido! Beautiful bread (lots of types available, including gluten free) plus absolutely delicious Cinnamon buns. And if you fancy a coffee while you're there, that's possible too. Most definitely recommended 👍

Adorable little bakery with many special bread and sweet options, I was looking for any bread with “masa madre” and there bread is all from it so that was perfect! I liked their style, and must say the bread was amazing, and it lasted fresh for a few days so I was happy, but of course the bread was almost 8€ witch for Spanish standard is quite a lot. Still great place and I recommend

We found this place by chance on Good Friday, and the roll bread was phenomenal. Apple strudel also very good - not too sweet nor too greasy/buttery. I wish I had tried more of their bread selections!

Was in complete awe of how delicious the cardamom bun was. It was so unexpectedly perfect!!! My husband and I shared one cardamom bun the first day (honestly because we felt bad that we walked into the shop and had to order some thing), loved it so much that we walked back the next day and had two!!! I wish they would last in my suitcase to bring them back from my vacation.

There are several great bakeries around Sta Catalina, this is currently my favourite. The sourdough baguettes are excellent, as is all the bread, good selection of cakes and dog friendly too

Wow! The best pastries in Santa Catalina ( I tried quite few) :) I tried almond croissant 🥐, it was warm and so soft. Delicious!

Cozy little bread shop with lovely sourdough bread and delicious cookies and cinnamon buns. Situated next to the Santa Catalina market place.
Cardamom rolls and baguette were fantastic. Can’t wait to try more yummy things from here.
